YOUTH CARE WORKER
About The Position
Located in rural Jasper, Florida - At Oak Grove Academy, we provide a therapeutic approach to improving the lives of Youth through the many opportunities we offer such as Equine, Sports, Culinary Arts, Medical or Masonry. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. As a Youth Care Worker, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.
Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED and 40 hours of college education OR have one-year experience working with youth in organized group activities.
- Possess a Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our Youth.
- Monitor and document behaviors.
- Monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time.
- Assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.
