About The Position
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Youth Sports staff serve members and guests of the Y by providing quality officiating, instruction to youth, and friendly interactions at sports events. Youth Basketball Season runs: January 9 - February 27, 2027.
Requirements
- General knowledge of sports (basketball, football, soccer, baseball, volleyball)
- Child Abuse Prevention Training (within 60 days of employment)
- CPR/First Aid/AED Training (within 60 days of employment)
- Must be 15 years or older
Responsibilities
- Providing quality officiating
- Instruction to youth
