Youth Baseball Coach Instructor

Overtime Athletics • Fairfax, VA

5d • $20 - $30 • Onsite

About The Position

We run youth baseball and T-ball programs for kids ages 4–12 at schools and rec centers across Fairfax County, Loudoun, Arlington, and Herndon. We need a coach who can make baseball fun for a 4-year-old hitting off a tee and a 10-year-old learning to field grounders — sometimes in the same week. You'll run your own class. We give you the curriculum — you bring the energy and execution.

Requirements

• Baseball background — played, coached, or trained at any level
• Experience working with young kids (T-ball age = lots of patience required)
• Ability to keep energy high and attention spans engaged
• Reliable, punctual, professional
• Must pass background check + fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation to assigned sites

Responsibilities

• Lead after-school and weekend T-ball and baseball classes at local schools and rec centers
• Deliver OTA curriculum for assigned age group (we train you on it)
• Teach fundamentals — hitting, fielding, throwing, base running — in a game-based format
• Manage your class independently — setup, instruction, dismissal
• Ensure every kid is safely dismissed before leaving
