About The Position

This seasonal, part-time role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys outdoor adventure and wants to help young people build confidence, curiosity, resilience, leadership, and connection through unforgettable experiences. The Youth Adventure Guide will make the outdoors feel exciting and welcoming, turning simple activities into adventures, encouraging youth through challenges, and helping kids see the world around them in new ways. Activities may include hiking, biking, paddling, climbing, camping, outdoor games, or adventure-based activities. Some programs take place locally, while others may include off-site trips or overnight camping. Flexibility, positive energy, sound judgment, and a strong sense of teamwork are all important in this role. Training is provided, and the ideal candidate will be eager to learn, grow, and share their passion for the outdoors with youth.

Responsibilities

• Lead youth in outdoor adventure activities such as hiking, biking, paddling, climbing, camping, and outdoor games.
• Create moments youth will remember long after the day ends.

• Make the outdoors feel exciting and welcoming.
• Encourage youth through challenges.
