The Young Adult Peer Advocate will be responsible for sustained outreach and engagement with unhoused young adults, coordinating participant needs before and after they transition from street to home, enhancing their daily living skills, accompanying them to appointments, and advocating on their behalf when faced with discrimination or healthcare inequities. This role requires lived experience as a consumer of mental health, substance use, and/or homeless services. The position is part of the Safe Options Support (SOS) – South Team and is based in Midtown, Lower Manhattan & Brooklyn, with a schedule of Sundays (9am-5pm) and Mondays through Thursdays (1pm-9pm).
