Requirements

• Experience with CAT, Excavators, loaders, dozers, and other Yellow Iron.
• Experience as a Yellow Iron Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Experience working with heavy machinery such as Caterpillar excavators, loaders, and dozers.
• Be physically fit.
• Be able to troubleshoot issues on the job site.
• 5 years experience as a Yellow Iron Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Repair, rewire and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Perform jobs involving servicing and repair of equipment.
• Evaluate and repair earth moving equipment.
• Inspect, service, and maintain heavy-duty construction equipment.
• Drive to the job site.
• Inspect engines and equipment.
• Carry out services.
• Conduct repairs.
• Provide routine maintenance to the Heavy Equipment.
