About The Position
Western Elite is seeking experienced Yellow Iron Heavy Duty Mechanics for our landfill located at 93 US Hwy, Alamo, NV 89001. We offer secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere and are looking for the best mechanics with yellow iron experience. We are looking for someone with experience with CAT, Excavators, loaders, dozers, and other Yellow Iron equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and inspecting machines to diagnose defects, performing routine maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting electrical systems, and examining parts for damage or wear. The Technician will evaluate and repair earth moving equipment, demonstrating initiative, teamwork, customer service enthusiasm, and efficient problem-solving skills. The role involves inspecting, servicing, and maintaining our range of heavy-duty construction equipment, including driving to job sites, inspecting engines, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and providing routine maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience as a Yellow Iron Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Experience working with heavy machinery such as Caterpillar excavators, loaders, and dozers.
- Be physically fit, and be able to troubleshoot issues on the job site.
- 5 years experience as a Yellow Iron Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

- Experience with CAT, Excavators, loaders, dozers, and other Yellow Iron equipment.
Responsibilities
