About The Position
At Local Crafts, we're the creative force behind some of the most beloved names in crafting — Connecting Threads, Superior Threads, Knit Picks, Crochet.com, Jimmy Beans Wool and Berroco. From our own workshops to trusted partners around the globe, we design and curate products makers reach for every day: the fabrics, threads, yarns, and tools that turn ideas into finished pieces. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Yarn Twister to join our Manufacturing team. In this hands-on production role, you'll support yarn production by following established processes, maintaining quality standards, and keeping work moving at an efficient pace. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on, repetitive work and takes pride in consistent, quality results.
Requirements
- Ability to follow processes and procedures consistently
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining production expectations
- Comfort with repetitive production work and standing for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility to work Saturdays when needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
Nice To Haves
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Follow established yarn twisting and production processes and procedures
- Complete production tasks accurately and at the expected pace
- Monitor work for quality and consistency throughout the production process
- Follow safety, quality, and operational guidelines
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for production
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production needs
- Support Saturday production as needed
