About The Position

Pape’ Rents is hiring an entry-level Yard / Utility Person in Sacramento, California. This fast-paced role helps ensure the yard and equipment are organized, clean, and ready for customers. Duties include equipment check-ins, steam cleaning, washing and fueling equipment, light mechanical work, and shipping and receiving. The position offers potential for advancement within the store and career development through training, resources, and support. Compensation is $17–$19.50 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

Be a self-starter who can work without direct supervision.
Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Be able to frequently lift and move 50 pounds.
Have a driver’s license and a good driving record.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Keep the yard and equipment organized, clean, and ready for customers.
Perform equipment check-ins.
Steam clean and wash equipment.
Fuel equipment.
Perform light mechanical work.
Ship and receive items.
