About The Position

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Yard / Utility Person for its Pasco, Washington location. This fast-paced role helps ensure the yard and equipment are organized, clean, and ready for customers. The position offers training, support, and potential for advancement within the store and company. The work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Compensation is $17.13–$22.68 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

Be a self-starter and able to work without direct supervision.
Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Be able to frequently lift and move 50 pounds.
Have a driver’s license and a good driving record.
Be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment check-ins.
Steam clean, wash, and fuel equipment.
Perform light mechanical work.
Ship and receive equipment and materials.
Help keep the yard and equipment organized, clean, and ready for customers.
