About The Position

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard Technician. This is a full-time position within the DoD SkillBridge Program, offering hands-on experience with industry-leading equipment. The role involves maintaining the quality and appearance of rental equipment and the yard. The company supports critical infrastructure, disaster response, industrial operations, and construction projects across North America. The Yard Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring equipment is rent-ready, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

Active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program
A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to meet all drug and alcohol testing requirements and commit to a drug-free workplace
Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
A strong focus on safety
Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays
Ability to complete other duties as assigned
Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats
Comfortable working with limited supervision at times

Responsibilities

Meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery
Inspecting small equipment for quality
Managing the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items
Enhancing the overall visual appeal of the yard
Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business
Loading and unloading equipment
Communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent-ready
Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard
