About The Position

The Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand. This position requires the use of equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and stock carts, as well as heavy lifting of product. Our Team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.

Requirements

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team-based environment
• Physically capable of performing the duties of the role. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
• Willingness to participate in a Criminal Record Background Check
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification

Nice To Haves

• Class 3 License considered an asset
• Previous lumber supply experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program
• Providing Exceptional Service to our Members and Guests and living our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto
• General merchandising and delivery of products
• Accurate ordering of product
• Load/unload product
• Ensure high level of location image in line with our Brand expectations
• Other projects and assignments as required
