About The Position

Co-op does business differently. As a co-operative, we believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. The Deli Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand. This position requires the use of equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting of product (up to 50lbs unassisted). Our Team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.

Requirements

Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
Professional, people-first, Guest service skills
Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork)
Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to participate in a Criminal Record Background Check
Quality communication skills.

Responsibilities

Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures and participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety.
Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto.
Production, packaging, and merchandising of product.
Food preparation as needed.
Accurate ordering and receiving of product.
Ensure high levels of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations.
Team Members will work in all areas of the assigned department.
Other projects and assignments as required.
