About The Position

Pratt Industries USA, the world's largest, privately-owned paper and packaging company in the USA, which is 100% post consumer recycled, has a position available in their Staten Island, New York facility for a hands-on Yard Supervisor for our Recycling Division. The ideal candidate must be proficient in working in a fast paced environment. They will be responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of material within a mill/ recycling complex; entailing all truck unloading activities, quality control and inventory management.

Requirements

Must have high school diploma or GED
Must have excellent communication Skills
Previous supervisory skills
Must be able to work nights and flexible days
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

Operators experience, (Ex. forklift, crane, payloader, roll-off ) and mobile equipment license a plus.
Equipment maintenance experiences also a plus.
