About The Position

The Landscape Yard Supervisor is responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of facilities to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. The role includes but is not limited to managing inventory, monitoring cleanliness, and performing inspections to maintain high operational standards.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards.
  • Experience with inventory management and vehicle maintenance.
  • Weekly Report
  • Weekly/BiWeekly 1 on 1 with Fleet & Facility Manager– L10
  • Weekly huddles
  • Proper management of your time, calendars and commitments

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot facility mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Perform emergency repairs within the facility to minimize downtime and restore functionality.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of yard consumables.
  • Sign out equipment and track usage to ensure availability and proper allocation.
  • Inventory and Stocking of Vehicles throughout Lucia Landscaping – Lakeside Lighting and Irrigation – Lakeside Pro Services as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard and complete campus.
  • Ensure that tools, equipment, and supplies are stored properly and that the work environment is safe and orderly.
  • Ensure that the whole campus is organized and clean daily.
  • Assist with yard organization and storage areas throughout the year and during transition times.
  • Truck and Trailer washing if circumstantially requested.
  • Fleet/Facility related transportation needs TBD by Fleet and Facility Manager on as needed basis.
  • Run large machines as needed for all loading purposes during the day.
  • Salt loading during events, trailer loading during lawn season, material moving and bin / refuse.
  • Truck Fueling and Prep: Truck and equipment fueling, bulk material loading assistance and operational prep support as necessary and/or requested.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Vehicle and equipment damage inspection documented in Fleetio on a scheduled basis by seasonal requirements.
  • Weekly Truck Drives for large trucks or largely unused trucks.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Document maintenance procedures, repairs, inventory transactions, and inspections.
  • Update and manage maintenance logs, inventory records, and inspection reports.
  • Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and management to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Any other Duties as set forth by the company.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in the field.
