About The Position

The Yard Specialist assists contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selecting and loading orders, pulls and stages materials for pickup or delivery, helps maintain yard inventory through cycle counts, and keeps the yard organized and clean. The role uses a forklift. Employees without prior forklift experience will receive training and help attaining certification.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.

• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with order selection and loading.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup and/or delivery.
• Help maintain yard inventory by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean.
• Operate a forklift; training and help attaining certification are provided to those without prior experience.
