About The Position

Mammoet is seeking a motivated, hands-on Yard Operator/Rigger for its yard in Rosharon, Texas. The role supports the safe and organized operation of the yard and specialist fleet, including staging, loading and unloading equipment, and basic housekeeping. Work is performed under supervision, with an emphasis on safe equipment operation, teamwork, hazard awareness, and meeting daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
NCCER.
Ability to meet all physical and safety requirements.
Completion of Mammoet onboard training courses.
Ability to understand and apply established procedures.
Basic crane and rigging knowledge.
Ability to operate yard equipment such as forklifts and manlifts.
Ability to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Basic verbal and written proficiency in English.
Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in one or more of these sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining.
Two years of relevant work experience in a technical or transport environment and/or rigging experience.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned yard tasks under supervision, including staging load lists, loading and unloading trucks, and simple housekeeping tasks.
Operate yard equipment safely and responsibly, including forklifts, zoom booms, manlifts, and overhead cranes.
Assist coworkers with staging and unloading equipment.
Identify and mitigate basic hazards, call an all stop when necessary, and contact a supervisor to address hazards.
Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation.
Maintain cleanliness of the yard and facilities.
