About The Position

Wesco is hiring a Yard Operations Associate to support efficient operations across one or multiple yards. The role may include operating equipment, loading and unloading products, and carrying out standard receiving and shipping processes. Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Ability to walk long distances throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse operations experience.
• Equipment operations, warehouse, and customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators.
• Perform rigging and cribbing of materials.
• Inspect all equipment used daily.
• Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system.
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Support yard operations, including loading and unloading products and executing standard receiving and shipping processes.
