About The Position

The Yard Operations Associate supports efficient operations across one or multiple yards. The role may include operating equipment, loading and unloading products, and carrying out standard receiving and shipping processes. Wesco provides training in distribution and supply chain techniques.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Ability to walk long distances throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse operations experience.
• Equipment operations, warehouse, and customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators.
• Perform rigging and cribbing of materials.
• Inspect equipment used each day.
• Receive, count, and enter shipment data into the system.
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.
• Operate heavy equipment.
