About The Position

At RDR, we have a strong focus on growth and recruitment and employ only the best local talent within our region. RDR is seeking General Yard Laborers to round out our Ready-Mix Division.

Requirements

• Able to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift - up to 75 lbs., stand for long periods of time, walk, squat, crouch.
• Able to work up to and at times greater than 10 hour days
• Must be proficient with hand tools

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance to mechanics, mixer drivers, and loader operators to support operation activities.
• Support processes related to precast production.
• Understand how to accurately take measurements.
• Assist with mechanical work in the shop.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite and shop clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular lawn maintenance around the mixer facility.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Come to work on time and consistently with a good attitude and work the hours needed to fulfill the job requirements.
