About The Position

PPG Cactus Asphalt is looking for Entry Level Laborers! Pavement Preservation Group (PPG) brings together the expertise of Cactus Asphalt, Viking Construction, and American Pavement Preservation to deliver high-quality asphalt maintenance, preservation, and repair services. We are committed to safety, quality, and providing lasting solutions for roads, parking lots, and other asphalt surfaces.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to commute to the job location.
• Must be able to pass a drug test at all times.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and around dust, fumes, noise, and moving equipment.
• Ability to safely operate equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Previous outdoor work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized yard at the PPG Cactus Yard.
• General labor duties and outdoor work to support daily operations.
• Picking up trash and debris throughout the yard.
• Emptying trash bins from the shop and fuel island.
• Operating equipment to sweep and clean the yard.
• Organizing equipment and materials to improve parking and storage efficiency.
• Assisting with cleaning around the shop and fabrication (fab) shop areas.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly outdoor work environment.
• Following all company safety policies and procedures.
