Case Dock / CDL A Yard Hostler
About The Position
Meadow Gold Dairy in Great Falls, Montana, is hiring a Yard Hostler to work in a fast-paced warehouse. The position safely and efficiently operates shuttles to move trailers between the dock, staging area, and loading dock doors to support shipping and receiving. Yard drivers also help team members by loading trailers and performing other warehouse duties. The role requires a valid Montana Class A CDL and medical card, or the ability to obtain the medical card. A manual endorsement is preferred. The schedule is Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, working four 10-hour shifts per week. Pay is up to $30.04 per hour, plus a $0.50-per-hour PM shift differential.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Montana Class A CDL and medical card, or be able to obtain the medical card.
- Manual endorsement preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal screenings.
- Must be able to climb into and out of trucks and use stairs for most of the shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and manually stack and move cases 6–8 cases high.
- Must be able to work in a wet environment, in temperatures maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit, and outdoors throughout the year.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
