About The Position

UNIS is one of the largest & fastest growing Logistics companies. We are looking for qualified Class C Drivers who will do yard switching. As a Class A Driver for UNIS Transportation, the primary responsibility of the role is to handle local transportation, moving goods between distribution sites located just a few miles apart. 1st Shift start 11:00am - 7:30pm. (Must be flexible operating Automatic & Manual). Must have experience working in High Volume Yards! Requirements

Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years).
Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record.
Meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation and possess a valid DOT Medical card.
No DUI’s or major driving violations.
Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test.
Willing to submit a background check and provide employment recommendations.
Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance.
Must have experience working in High Volume Yards.

Responsibilities
