About The Position

UNIS is one of the largest & fastest growing Logistics companies. We are looking for qualified Class A Drivers who will do shuttling and also using a yard goat. As a Class A Driver for UNIS Transportation, the primary responsibility of the role is to handle local transportation, moving goods between distribution sites located just a few miles apart. This is a 1st Shift position starting at 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Flexibility is required to operate both Automatic & Manual transmissions. Must have experience working in High Volume Yards! Requirements

Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years).
Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record.
Meet or exceed the US Department of Transportation medical standards and possess a valid DOT Medical card.
No DUI’s or major driving violations.
Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test.
Willing to submit to a background check and provide employment recommendations.
Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance.
Must be flexible operating Automatic & Manual transmissions.
Must have experience working in High Volume Yards.
