About The Position
Curtis Lumber is looking to immediately fill a Yard Foreman position with someone who possesses knowledge on Building Material Products and has a strong background in leadership. Requirements
- Knowledge on Building Material Products
- Strong background in leadership
- 2 years forklift experience
- Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly
Responsibilities
- Monitor employee’s daily activity and delegate or assign work as appropriate
- Challenge and develop employees’ performance, provide feedback, and hold direct reports accountable for their goals and job responsibilities
- Motivate employees and offer opportunity and reward appropriately
- Make recommendations to Manager regarding efforts to control employee turnover
- Make recommendations to Manager regarding employee performance for coaching, review, and disciplinary efforts
