About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of general tasks in a yard and fabrication shop setting. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, building fences, operating forklifts and bobcats, and using construction tools such as saws and drills. The position requires the ability to work in various weather conditions. While some construction experience is preferred, the company is willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading materials
• Building fence of all materials
• Driving forklifts and bobcats
• Using construction tools as saws and drills
• Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the site
• Consulting team leaders and manager on daily plans
• Following instructions and using tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
• Completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Aiding co-workers as needed
• Cleaning and clearing debris and hazardous materials
• Ensuring equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
