About The Position

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The work shift will consist of 8-10 hours. The team member must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and be willing to bend, squat, lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities include cleaning the lot and picking up trash throughout the shift and during downtime. The role requires standing, walking, and climbing up and down from yard shuttle vehicles up to 100% of the time. Other job duties may be part of the routine at certain times. The team member must follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.

Requirements

• Willing to drive, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist as needed and repeat all essential functions throughout the shift.
• Willing to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Willing to work/drive in inclement weather; hot, cold, dusty, icy, etc.
• Completion of paperwork.
• Frequent communication using a radio.
• Complete all required training for the job.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• Able to perform position tasks.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to pass MVR report.
• 3 months of tractor trailer driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• No CDL is required.
