About The Position

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The work shift will consist of 8-10 hours, Wednesday – Saturday from 7am-6pm. The role requires the team member to move around the work area at a fast pace and be willing to bend, squat, lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Additionally, the team member must be willing to endure standing, walking, and climbing up and down from yard shuttle vehicles up to 100% of the time. Other job duties may be part of the routine at certain times, and all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines must be followed.

Requirements

Must be willing to drive, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist as needed and repeat all essential functions throughout the shift.
Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Must be willing to work/drive in inclement weather; hot, cold, dusty, icy, etc.
Completion of paperwork.
Frequent communication using a radio to communicate with the shipping department.
Willingness to complete all required training for the job.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Must be able to perform position tasks.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to pass MVR report.
No CDL is required.
Must have 3 months of tractor trailer driving experience.
