About The Position

The Yard Driver moves trailers and tankers, including spotting and hooking or unhooking trailers. The role also involves recording trailer temperatures, performing yard checks, fueling trailers, and cleaning trailers and the yard. The driver is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety, security, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Hold a current Texas CDL license with tanker certification.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including climbing, standing, walking, bending, and stooping; lifting up to 70 pounds; and working in hot and cold environments around moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and tankers, including spotting and hooking or unhooking trailers.
• Record trailer temperatures and perform yard checks.
• Fuel trailers and clean trailers and the yard.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety, security, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.
