Yard Driver 2nd Shift Caseyville IL
About The Position
This position is responsible for moving trailers in and out of loading areas, assist in the warehouse with material handling and shipping/receiving responsibilities. Tyson is currently in the process of expanding our operations in Caseyville with an $181 million dollar investment to add 7 new state of the art production lines to our current 4 production lines. With automated warehousing and robotics at the heart of this expansion the facility will be a Flagship of the Prepared Foods division. The facility currently produces Jimmy Dean and Hillshire branded retail products and the expansion will further develop our capabilities.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must not have any DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
- One-year relevant trailer spotting experience
- Six months pallet jack/fork lift experience
- Maintain a valid driver’s license at all times while in the position
- Meet requirements to operate powered industrial trucks safely
- Meet requirements to operate tractors and move trailers safely in a confined yard area with excellent night vision
