About The Position
This position is for a Yard Driver on the second shift at the Caseyville, Illinois facility. The role involves moving trailers in and out of loading areas and assisting in the warehouse with material handling and shipping/receiving responsibilities. The Caseyville facility is undergoing a significant expansion with a $181 million investment to add 7 new state-of-the-art production lines, featuring automated warehousing and robotics. This expansion aims to make it a flagship of the Prepared Foods division, which currently produces Jimmy Dean and Hillshire branded retail products.
Requirements
- Maintain a valid driver’s license at all times while in the position
- Meet requirements to operate powered industrial trucks safely
- Meet requirements to operate tractors and move trailers safely in a confined yard area with excellent night vision
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must not have any DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
- One-year relevant trailer spotting experience
- Six months pallet jack/fork lift experience
