About The Position

As a Yard Driver at The Home Depot, you will be responsible for maintaining yard organization and safely spotting trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. This role also involves updating trailer moves or any yard activity via a hand-held device. The Home Depot is the world’s largest home improvement specialty retailer, operating over 2,200 retail stores across North America, with a focus on helping customers build and improve their homes and businesses.

Requirements

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid, active Driver's License
• Ability to load and unload heavy items
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED
• 0 years of work experience

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks as needed
• Safely spotting trailers at dock doors and yard locations
• Driving yard trucks and spotting at designated locations
• Yard Auditing
• Ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System
