RVI Robards 3rd (B Crew) Yard Driver Operator (Sun, Mon, Tues & Every Other Sat 6pm-6am
About The Position
This position is responsible for entry level skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Requirements
- Must have legible handwriting
- Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed)
- NO DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months
- At least 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Computer experience preferred
- Prefer 3 months of operator experience
Responsibilities
- To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
- Receive training as required
- Perform various positions as required/assigned
- Coordinating trailer and tanker traffic in the receiving yard
- Maintains log of product loads and reports trailer problems to supervisor and the truck shop
- Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours
- Must be willing to complete all required training for the job
