RVI Robards 3rd (D Crew) Yard Driver Operator (Wed, Thurs, Fri & Every Other Sat 6pm-6am
About The Position
This position is responsible for entry level skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Requirements
- Must have legible handwriting.
- Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
- Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed).
- NO DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months.
- At least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Computer experience preferred.
- Prefer 3 months of operator experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate trailer and tanker traffic in the receiving yard.
- Maintain log of product loads.
- Report trailer problems to supervisor and the truck shop.
- Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
- Receive training as required.
- Perform various positions as required/assigned.
- Complete all required training for the job.
