About The Position
Walstrom Marine is seeking a Yard Crew team member for its Traverse City location. The role supports boat maintenance and yard operations, with training available for candidates who have technical aptitude and are willing to learn. Duties include assisting with boat launching and haul-outs, especially during spring and fall; transporting boats, trailers, and supplies; detailing boats; helping maintain company fleet and yard equipment; and keeping the yard clean, organized, and safe. This is an in-person, onsite position. The schedule is an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Saturday availability required during summer months.
Requirements

- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Assist with boat launching and haul-out operations, particularly during spring and fall.
- Transport boats, trailers, and supplies to customer properties, Walstrom Marine locations, and events such as boat shows.
- Clean boat interiors and exteriors as part of detailing tasks.
- Assist with maintenance and minor repairs of company fleet and yard equipment throughout the year.
- Maintain yard cleanliness and organization by following safety protocols and ensuring equipment is stored properly.
