About The Position

Join our team at the Eckville Farm Centre as a temporary part-time Yard Attendant. We are looking for a dedicated individual with exceptional customer service skills and a hands-on approach. This role is a temporary contract until approximately September 30, 2026, with part-time hours ranging from 24-36 per week. Availability is needed on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
• Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)

Nice To Haves

• Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset
• Experience running a forklift is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service

• Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts
• Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery
