About The Position

Eckville Farm Centre is seeking a dedicated Farm Centre Associate to join their dynamic team. This part-time position involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role requires stocking, labeling, ordering, and receiving inventory, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the store. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)

Nice To Haves

• AG/Animal health experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Stock, face and rotate inventory
• Label products, including signage, pricing, and product numbers
• Order products as required within guidelines and create purchase orders
• Receive and unpack product as per guidelines
• Clean shelves, bins, displays, and floors
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
