About The Position

Kensington is looking for a self-driven and multi-faceted individual to deliver exceptional private travel experiences across yacht and aviation charters. You'll manage your own portfolio of yacht clients while leading the day-to-day operation of our private jet desk, taking each request from first inquiry to wheels-up. You'll be the central point of contact for clients, internal travel specialists, aircraft operators, and industry partners; while your leadership team provides close mentorship and guidance, compliance oversight, and continued support on escalations, approvals and the nuances in between. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on a new department's growth while expanding an established yacht charter business.

Requirements

  • At least one year of private aviation experience in charter sales, brokerage, or flight coordination
  • At least one year of professional yacht industry experience in charter sales, operations, crew, or a related role
  • Comfort navigating pricing, contracts, payment schedules and high net worth clients with the autonomy and organization to manage a full, fast-moving workload
  • A proven track record of converting inquiries into bookings & meeting quarterly + annual revenue targets with ease
  • An incredible work ethic with great follow-through abilities and a genuine care for getting the details right
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, SharePoint, and CRM or booking systems
  • Comfort in managing a company phone after-hours, as is the nature of the industry

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Avinode
  • Familiarity with FAA compliance and operator due diligence
  • Working knowledge of aircraft categories, cabin layouts, capacity, range, and luggage limits, as well as yacht types, destinations, seasonality, and charter costs

Responsibilities

  • Manage yacht and private jet leads from initial inquiry through booking and post-travel follow-up
  • Source yachts and aircraft through industry platforms, operators, and trusted partners
  • Prepare tailored proposals, communicate pricing and terms, and convert inquiries into bookings
  • Coordinate contracts, payments, client preferences, and pre-departure arrangements
  • Support aircraft and operator compliance checks under the Director’s supervision
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline, build client relationships, and achieve quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Help shape the processes, supplier relationships, and service standards of a developing private aviation department
