OSMC's X-Ray Department is growing. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
- Current Indiana license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current registration with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for radiology procedures.
- Taking x-rays following established physician protocols and procedures for patient care and safety.
- Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
- Ensures equipment is in working order.
- Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
- Logs radiology procedures completed.
- Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.
- Maintains examination and stock rooms.
- Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies.
- Assist facility manager with clinic inventory and supply ordering.
- Performs quality controls and assists in maintaining the lab equipment.
