About The Position

Skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist with experience performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Proficient in operating radiographic equipment, positioning patients accurately, ensuring radiation safety compliance, and producing diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation. Strong ability to provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures, maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams. Committed to delivering efficient, high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification and state licensure as required.
  • FL State License.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Digital radiography and imaging techniques

  • EMR and PACS experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in an outpatient healthcare setting while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging standards.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the exam process, positioning them correctly, and obtaining diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety regulations, infection control protocols, and organizational policies.
  • Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations as ordered by providers.
  • Accurately position patients and operate radiographic equipment to obtain quality images.
  • Verify patient identity and medical information before procedures.
  • Explain imaging procedures and address patient questions or concerns.
  • Follow radiation safety practices and utilize appropriate shielding techniques.
  • Maintain patient records and document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
