About The Position

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a busy Orthopedic Clinic within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining patient safety, and supporting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal and general medical conditions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification required.
  • Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of X-Ray Technologist experience required.
  • Level I Trauma experience required.
  • Experience utilizing C-Arm equipment during surgical procedures required.
  • Proficiency in: Extremity imaging, Abdomen/GI studies, Spine and pelvis imaging, Chest and thorax imaging, Surgical imaging and C-Arm procedures.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Commitment to patient safety and exceptional patient care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in orthopedic imaging preferred.
  • Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and Operating Room (OR) settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
  • Conduct imaging procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine, pelvis, chest, and thorax studies.
  • Assist with fluoroscopic and surgical procedures utilizing C-Arm technology.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
  • Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to provide efficient patient care.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines.
  • Support imaging needs in orthopedic, emergency, trauma, and surgical environments as required.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
