About The Position
At American Health Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology and a compassionate team approach. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in Beaumont, TX.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) registered (or registry-eligible, if applicable)
- State licensure as required
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
- Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
- Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
