X-Ray Technologist – Mammography Training Program
About The Position
Lumexa Imaging is seeking ARRT-registered Technologists in the DFW area with a passion to expand their knowledge and grow their careers within diagnostic imaging. Touchstone Medical Imaging is offering a unique opportunity for registered Technologists to receive paid on-the-job training to learn and become a registered Mammography Technologist in less than 18 months through our Technologist Training Academy (TAA). This comprehensive, employer-sponsored program is designed to provide the education, hands-on training, and support needed to successfully transition into a rewarding career in Mammography. Mammography is a specialized skill that allows you to play an important role in detecting breast cancer at its earliest, most treatable stages. By learning mammography, you will gain valuable expertise in a growing area of diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- ARRT Registered in Radiography (R)
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Commitment to completing the Mammography cross-training program
Responsibilities
- Receive paid on-the-job training to learn and become a registered Mammography Technologist.
- Participate in a structured learning curriculum with third-party training materials.
- Engage in hands-on clinical training in a patient-focused environment.
- Work towards an immediate wage increase upon successful completion and passing of the Mammography registry certification.
