About The Position

Midwest Pain Clinics (MPC) is seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech to join our outpatient clinical team in Omaha. This is an opportunity to step away from the unpredictable schedules often associated with hospital-based imaging and enjoy a consistent four-day work week. You'll use your radiologic expertise to support physicians during specialized pain management procedures, including fluoroscopic and C-arm imaging.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited program.
  • Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential in the applicable state of practice.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • C-arm experience.
  • At least one year of healthcare experience.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Knowledge of current X-ray technology, imaging procedures, and radiologic techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an outpatient, surgical, interventional, or pain management environment.
  • Familiarity with computerized radiologic equipment and electronic medical recordkeeping systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
  • Provide C-arm imaging support during interventional and other clinical procedures.
  • Assist physicians during intraoperative and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain clear, accurate, high-quality images.
  • Adjust and calibrate imaging equipment based on procedural requirements.
  • Follow radiation safety practices to protect patients, physicians, and clinical staff.
  • Prepare and handle contrast-related materials according to established protocols.
  • Communicate relevant patient and procedural information with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members.
  • Complete patient records, procedure documentation, imaging logs, and other required records accurately and promptly.
  • Clean, sterilize, maintain, and properly store radiology equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor imaging equipment performance, report concerns, and assist with supply inventory and ordering.
  • Complete additional imaging-related and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
