Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to join our growing team at our Mandarin location in Jacksonville, Florida. Requirements

ARRT(R) certification required
Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
Current BLS certification
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

Obtain and review relevant patient medical history prior to exams
Review and correctly interpret physicians’ imaging orders
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation
Properly position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Set appropriate technical parameters and safely operate X-ray equipment
Evaluate images for technical quality and determine when additional images may be necessary
Assist radiologists with procedures such as arthrograms
Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-focused imaging environment
Support other modalities and departments as needed
Restock supplies and maintain organized exam areas
Routinely clean and sanitize exam rooms and patient areas
