About The Position

Aylo Health is hiring an X-Ray Tech to perform radiologic procedures and support patient care. The role prepares and assists patients, operates radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, and follows radiologic requirements and safety regulations. It also includes maintaining equipment and supplies and completing related administrative tasks. Recent graduates are accepted; current Radiologic Technologist licensure and ARRT certification are required.

Current Radiologic Technologist licensure.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provide verbal and/or written instructions, and assist with positioning body parts for radiography.
Explain procedures and observe patients to support their care, safety, and comfort during scans.
Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls for exposure time and distance according to examination specifications.
Take x-rays in accordance with established radiologic requirements and regulations.
Use radiation safety measures and protective devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report malfunctions to the Practice Manager or supervisor.
Complete related administrative duties, including forms, labeling disks and disk envelopes, and maintaining procedure logs.
Retrieve radiologic orders and enter related data into the electronic medical record.
Maintain adequate radiologic supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
