About The Position

SimonMed Imaging is hiring an X-Ray/CT Technologist to perform CT and X-ray procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision of technical detail. The role involves obtaining patient histories, explaining standard procedures, addressing patient concerns, producing computerized tomographic and conventional radiographs, and performing technical procedures that use ionizing radiation to detect pathology. The technologist regulates imaging equipment, develops and documents PACS imaging, operates equipment safely, and maintains SimonMed standards while performing call types of procedures. The position works under general supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The role also requires professional rapport with employees, other departments, and facility staff. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time or without notice.

Requirements

• Registration as a Radiography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State.
• Valid hands-on CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Obtain patient histories, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns.
• Produce computerized tomographic and conventional radiographs of specific areas according to departmental procedures.
• Perform technical procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Regulate equipment used to expose X-ray film, and develop and document PACS imaging.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain SimonMed standards while performing call types of procedures.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments, and facility staff.
