The Materials & Processes Engineering (MPE) department is responsible for developing and delivering advanced materials technologies and manufacturing solutions to enable system-level enhancements for both Military and Commercial jet engines. The Materials Characterization organization is seeking an experienced professional to work in our X-ray micro computed tomography (micro-CT) team. The micro-CT engineer will work within inter-disciplinary teams to define micro-CT scanning and analysis approaches tailored for various projects as well as reporting out results to multidisciplinary teams. The micro-CT engineer will work with internal and external resources to directly impact various programs, including new materials technology and process development, field investigation and root cause determination, and support of product and process validation, and manufacturing / quality issues resolution.
