About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Partner Funding Program Manager to work across teams to support AWS Partner Funding & GTM Programs that contribute to the growth of AWS and the AWS Partner Network (APN). In the WW Industry Program Lead role, you will develop a deep understanding of the AWS Partner Network and Industry Customers to design, evolve, and launch scalable programs and growth initiatives that support partners as well as the AWS field priorities. This role requires collaboration and relationship-building skills as you will be required to partner with Program, Operations, Sales / Partner Sales, Partner Management, and the Specialist Organization / Business Development to execute partner funding programs worldwide. You must be able to manage multiple priorities and have the communication skills to be influential in aligning global teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be the voice across industries for bridging the need to drive strategic business outcomes in an industry aligned to a scalable program. You will support field and partners and will enable internal teams and partners to create and adopt the program and share best practices across regions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working backwards from the needs of the business (internal teams) and partners to recommend changes and develop global programs and growth initiatives that help partners build their AWS business or to-go-market with AWS.
  • Obtain and distill information from a large number of partners, customers, other internal stakeholders to define the program and initiative strategy and approach aligned to the overall business outcome.
  • Work across Partner Core, the Partner Center of Excellence teams, and Engineering to build the end to end internal and external process for the program and initiatives including automation to support scale.
  • Share insights into what is working or not working, and provide program, process or system improvement enhancements for the next level of growth or increase in productivity.
  • Work with Geo Teams to provide guidance that results in acquiring new customers, retaining and growing existing customers, and delivering growth in revenue on AWS services.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the programs and initiatives you are responsible for, including showing attainment to goals, operational success and further iterations.
  • Continuously seek feedback from internal teams and partners to understand how the program is working or not working to meet their needs.
  • Work with the Finance to monitor partner utilization of funds as a steward of the funding budget for AWS.
  • Balance being able to meet the needs of partners and also sound financial management.
  • Analyze various areas of the business and track key performance measures.
  • Lead complex initiatives, deliver independently, and co-own multiple goals.
  • Own and support multiple sales and revenue goals.
  • Support ongoing business reviews / reporting to senior management using a data driven approach.
