About The Position

As a WSoC integration and validation engineer, you will be responsible for integrating and optimizing physical layer (PHY) components in wireless communication systems. The role involves chip-level bring-up and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) implementation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, compliance, and reliability of wireless connectivity solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven wireless communications experience, particularly in PHY layer design and integration.
  • Solid understanding of DSP concepts and experience implementing DSP algorithms in real-time systems.
  • Experience with chip-level bring-up and familiarity with hardware debugging tools and techniques.
  • Experience with PHY/RF/MAC verification.
  • Experience with RF parametric testing, such as EVM, ACPR, receiver sensitivity, and blocker testing.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and DMMs.
  • Python programming skills.
  • Knowledge of wireless protocols such as Bluetooth, WLAN, and UWB.
  • Verification skills in problem solving, constrained-random testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and optimize physical layer (PHY) components in wireless communication systems.
  • Perform chip-level bring-up and DSP implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure wireless connectivity solutions meet performance, compliance, and reliability goals.
